Title

Addressing soil erosion on Atlantic First Nation communities to create awareness of its impacts on community and ecological activities

Description

This project will assemble information on soil erosion and its impacts, and will communicate them to the Mi’gmaw communities of Listuguj, Eel River Bar, and Pabineau.

Objectives

  • Create awareness and understanding of shoreline erosion in plain language publications.
  • Communicate current and potential impacts of improperly managed shorelines.
  • Develop homeowners and land developers’ best practices guide on shoreline protection specific to the community.
