AAROM science symposium hosted in Miramichi
On February 26th and 27th, the North Shore MicMac District Council and Gespe’gewaq Mi’gmaq Resource Council co-hosted a science symposium in Miramichi, NB.
This science symposium brought together representatives from 10 organizations, spanning across five provinces, with the goal of sharing best practices and ideas in conducting scientific research.
Dr. Albert Marshall was also presented the concept of Two-Eyed Seeing, combining western science practices with Mi’gmaq ecological knowledge when conducting research.
