The GMRC Board of Directors’ is pleased to welcome new management at the Gespe’gewaq Mi’gmaq Resource Council offices. Marsha Vicaire, a Listuguj Mi’gmaq, began her duties on April 20, 2015. As a Ph.D. candidate, Mrs. Vicaire brings a wealth of both education and program experience to the organization. In addition, she brings to the GMRC team a robust research acumen as they usher in a new era of growth in aquatic resource and ocean management.

The Board would like to express its gratitude to the outgoing C.E.O., Victoria LaBillois, for her exemplary work repositioning the organization. Mrs. LaBillois is credited with cultivating a proficient team, developing relevant policies and establishing a secure financial position.
